The Cambridge AICE Diploma involves the selection of subjects from 3 curricular areas – Mathematics and Science; Languages; Arts and Humanities.

An A Level equals 2 points and an AS Level equals 1 point. To obtain the AICE Diploma, the student must obtain at least 6 points in a combination of subjects taken from the 3 curricular areas.

The exams take place May / June and October / November each year. Students can enrol up to 5 exam sessions as long as they do so within a 25-month period.

The contents of the subjects are divided into 2 parts. The AS program that is expected to be completed in the 1st year and the A Level program (A2) which is expected to be completed in the 2nd year.

For the purpose of equivalence in the national curriculum, obtaining the AICE guarantees the student the completion of secondary education allowing the application to higher education.
